Brandi Powell Career
Her first job in radio was announcing neighborhood events for a local jazz station.
Brandi worked for KNSD-TV as a reporter/multi-media journalist from 2011 to 2013. (NBC 7 San Diego). She oversaw breaking news, misconduct, and government concerns. She was also a regular on-air contributor for NBC 7’s weekly political show, “Politically Speaking.”
She served for News 8 Austin (now Time Warner News – Spectrum) as a reporter/video journalist/Bell County Bureau Chief from 2008 to 2009.
She was in charge of Fort Hood and the networks that surrounded it. Her first on-air employment was at Bismarck, North Dakota’s KFYR-TV as a Political Reporter (NBC affiliate). Between 2006 and 2008, she was able to obtain statewide decisions as well as administrative sessions. Between 2005 and 2006, Brandi worked at MSNBC as an off-camera Production Assistant. During the 2004 Republican National Convention, she interned at The Washington Center in New York City. She was also a Dateline NBC intern in 2004.
