Phoebe Robinson Biography
Phoebe Robinson is an American actor and stand-up comedian who lives in New York City. She is a New York Times best-selling author.
Robinson has acted in a number of movies. Vulture, Flavorwire, Brooklyn Magazine, Essence, Esquire, and the San Francisco Sketchfest have all named her as a comic to watch. Robinson worked as a consultant on Season 3 of Broad City and as a writer for MTV’s Girl Code. She has been featured in the New York Times, Bitch, and Vanity Fair, among other publications. The Huffington Post featured her blog, Blaria, which was titled after “Black Daria,” and Robinson has performed a live version of Blaria Live in Brooklyn and Washington, D.C. on a regular basis.
She co-hosts and produces the 2 Dope Queens podcast and HBO series with Jessica Williams. She also starred in Refinery29’s web series Woke Bae, which she developed.
