Donnie McClurkin Biography
Donnie McClurkin is a gospel singer from the United States of America as well as a contemporary Christianity clergyman. He has won a Dove Award, two Soul Train Awards, two BET Awards, ten Stellar Awards, three Grammy Awards, and one NAACP Image Award, among other honors.
McClurkin established the “McClurkin Singers” while he was a teenager. He later created the “New York Restoration Choir,” which began recording music in 1975.
McClurkin joined Marvin Winans’ Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan, as a co-minister in 1989. McClurkin was Winans’ assistant for more than a decade. He was ordained in 2001 and currently serves as a pastor.
He was ordained and dispatched by the Winans in 2001 to start the Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, New York, where he presently serves as Senior Pastor.
