Charles Stanley (Charles Frazier Stanley) is the Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, where he served as Senior Pastor for 51 years. He is the creator and head of In Touch Ministries, which broadcasts his sermons on television to a wide audience. He was also the president of the Southern Baptist Convention for two one-year periods, from 1984 to 1986.
