Chris Long (Christopher Howard Long) is a former American football defensive end who spent 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He was the younger brother of NFL guard Kyle Long and the son of Hall of Fame defensive end Howie Long. He played college football at Virginia and was named an All-American. He was the second overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams, with whom he spent eight seasons. Long went on to play for the New England Patriots for one season and the Philadelphia Eagles for two seasons, winning a Super Bowl title with each team.

Since high school, he has been playing seriously. He has 91 tackles, 23 tackles for a loss, and 15 sacks during his senior season (2003). This propelled his squad to an undefeated season in the University Interscholastic League (UIL).

Year of freshman (2004)
