Dan was part of the WNYW team that won a New York Emmy for a special report on Autism in 2018. In 2015, Dan was nominated for a New York Emmy Award in the category of general assignment reporting. He also had a key role in the introduction of three additional Emmy-nominated shows at the network, including “The Big Idea,” “FOX Docs,” and “FOX 5 Films,” among others.
Dan formerly worked at Raleigh, North Carolina’s WRAL-TV, where he won two regional Emmy Awards, before joining FOX 5 in New York City. In addition to WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Florida, and KEPR-TV in the Tri-Cities, Washington, he has worked for other stations.
