Danny got his first radio job in Fresno not long after graduating from high school. He was a weeknight DJ at San Diego’s B-100 FM. Later, he worked for Channel 8 on weekends as a weathercaster. Danny joined KCOP in Los Angeles as a prime-time weathercaster two years later. After seven years and three Emmys, Danny was hired to do weather at KNBC.
Danny volunteers for a number of worthwhile causes in Southern California. Before his three experiences with cancer, Danny volunteered for the American Cancer Society, UCP, MDA, March of Dimes, Boys and Girls Clubs, MS Society, The Downtown Los Angeles Mission, and a variety of other organizations.
