Darren Wolfson’s Nickname
From 1994 to 1996, Wolfson was a die-hard KFAN fan. During his senior year of high school, Joe connected with Eric Webster. For whatever reason, Webster thought taping a weekly piece would be cool. The syndication success of “Doogie Howser, M.D.” led to the Doogie moniker.
Wolfson held positions at KFAN Radio, a Minneapolis-based sports/talk station. He has worked at the radio station for nearly a decade. At KFAN Radio, Darren served as a fill-in anchor, producer, technical director, reporter, and host.
Additionally, Darren spent the most of his time on the popular “Chad Hartman Show” with Sid Hartman’s son Chad. In January 2009, the journalist resigned from KFAN Radio. In addition, the journalist has worked for KMSP FOX-9 as a fill-in sports anchor and online show analyst.
He has as well worked for the station network www.GopherHole.com, as well as the St. Paul Saints’ television broadcasts and the MLB Network.
