Harry Holland Career

Harry’s love of film grew organically in his home, surrounded by artists. Unlike his elder brother Tom, who was quickly becoming a teen sensation in Britain as a dancer and actor, Harry, on the other hand, was more interested in what goes on behind the camera. He took dance courses alongside his brothers Tom and Sam, although he wasn’t really fond of it.
He made his acting debut in the disaster drama ‘The Impossible’ in 2012. Lucas Bennett, the son of Henry (McGregor) and Maria Bennett, was Tom’s role (Watts). Harry, who was 12 at the time, moved to Thailand with his family to live with Tom. He may have acquired the best practical instruction in filmmaking by spending a substantial portion of his adolescence on the sets of a major Hollywood picture.

He was also requested to play a small part in the movie, which he eagerly accepted. He partnered with Watts again in his second film, the 2013 biographical drama ‘Diana,’ which was based on Princess Diana’s final two years. In the film, he played Prince Harry and had significantly greater screen time than in ‘The Impossible.’
He started his career with the short film “Tweet,” in which he also featured as Harry in 2015. ‘Hugo Hans: Wildrunners’ was his next film as a filmmaker. Hugo Hans’ song ‘Wildrunners,’ from his 2013 album ‘Beginners,’ provided the inspiration for the film, which was released in 2016.
In 2016, he wrote and directed his next film, “In the Middle of the Night.” In the same year, he published ‘Storybook Ending,’ another video short. ‘Roses for Lily’ and ‘The Mysterious House on Hoarder Hill,’ directed by Holland’s brothers Sam and Paddy, respectively, are their first films.
