She moved from Baltimore’s WJZ, a CBS-owned station, where she had worked since the summer of 2006, to CBS3, KYW-TV. She relocated to Baltimore from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she hosts News at Nine on KASA FOX 2 and contributes to KOB-TV, a sister station. She continued to contribute to other newscasts at KOB-TV while receiving a promotion to anchor the station’s 4 p.m. broadcast.

Before relocating to New Mexico, she worked as a reporter and weekend anchor for KYMA-TV in Yuma, Arizona. While she was there, she won the Associated Press’s “Hard News Feature” category first place. Jessica developed the public speaking abilities of athletes while working with the Special Olympics in Albuquerque.

She belongs to the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and serves on the board of the House of Ruth Maryland.
