She took a medical leave in mid-November 2013 to deal with a brain tumor. On 22 January 2014, Chang returned from his medical leave. A CT scan she had following a wave injury revealed a tumor in the middle of her brain, prompting her to take medical leave from Fox 11’s “Good Day L.A.” Chang opted to leave Los Angeles in May 2020 on “Good Day.”
