Juliet is also the station spokesman for WZZM 13’s “Friends for Life” campaign, which encourages women to do monthly breast self-exams in order to discover breast cancer early. She launched the “Friends for Life” campaign in 1997 and has served as the emcee and honorary co-chair of the “Race for the Cure” for over 15 years.
She also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House of Western Michigan, Special Olympics Michigan, Catholic Charities West Michigan, the Michigan Brain Injury Association, and the American Cancer Society’s “Relay For Life,” among other organizations. She is particularly committed to programs that support families in West Michigan.
Juliet is now the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Special Olympics Michigan. She was on the board of directors for the American Red Cross Blood Services Division – Great Lakes Region. In 2013, the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences nominated Juliet for an Emmy Award for her work as a news anchor.
