Some of Ms. Glatter’s early choreography credits include William Friedkin’s To Live and Die in L.A. and the music video for Sheila E.’s “The Glamorous Life.”

Her first film, Tales of Meeting and Parting, was produced by Sharon Oreck in 1984, and it was her first acting role. Later, the picture received an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film. She made the film as part of the AFI Directing Workshop for Women, of which she is a graduate.

Now and Then, a coming-of-age narrative about four 12-year-old girls during a memorable summer in 1970, was Glatter’s debut feature film, which she directed in 1995. She has produced a number of television films for cable networks, although her main focus is on television shows.
