Smokie Norful (also known as; Rev. Willie Ray Norful, Jr.), is a gospel singer, composer, preacher, pianist, artist, writer, entrepreneur, and businessman best known for his 2002 album I Need You Now and Nothing Without You.

Norful is presently the pastor of the Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois. On September 20, 2005, Norful dedicated the Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Since the community’s inception, he and the Victory family have witnessed outstanding and unprecedented progress. Norful also established a second campus on Chicago’s south side on September 28, 2008. Since the beginning, they have witnessed a comparable dynamic growth and miraculous movement of God.

On 21 May 2002, EMI Gospel and Chordant Records released I Need You Now, which was his debut album. On the same labels, on October 21, 2003, I Need You Now: Limited Edition was released. It’s a follow-up to I Need You Now rather than an expanded version. It includes four new songs as well as new renditions of four songs from the standard edition.
