Steven Williams’s (Actor) Career – Movies & TV Shows

He went on to the GM Institute, the automaker’s engineering school, after graduating from there. Williams went on to work as a postal carrier, a salesperson, and a model in his later years.
He was drafted into the US Army and served in the 2nd Armored Division at Gelnhausen, Germany, where he won the Divisional Championship with the US Army Boxing Team in the Middleweight Division. Williams served as a mailman for the United States Postal Service after getting an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army. He went to work as a clothing salesman in Chicago’s garment district after carrying mail in subzero conditions.

From 1987 through 1991, he starred as Captain Adam Fuller on the Fox Network’s TV series 21 Jump Street. In 1985, he portrayed Lt. Burnett in the CBS drama series The Equalizer. In 1996, he portrayed Det. August Brooks in the short-lived TNT series L.A. Heat.
On Fox’s hit science fiction series The X-Files, Steven had a recurring role as X. In the movie Linc’s, he played Russell “Linc” Lincoln. Later, in Supernatural, he played Rufus Turner.

In 1980, he played Trooper Mount in The Blues Brothers.
