Saracho served as a co-artistic director of the theatre for ten years and is noted for bringing the “Latina gaze” to the forefront.
Saracho’s work with Teatro Luna gave her the opportunity to write for the stage before moving on to television. Vida, a Starz series, has had her as a showrunner since 2018. Saracho signed a three-year contract with the show in February 2018, shortly after the first season ended.
