While reporting from the scene, she chronicled the aftermath of the Las Vegas shooting massacre. During Hurricane Harvey’s damage, she visited Houston, Texas. When a deadly mudslide threatened to demolish the coastal city of Montecito, California, she was one of the first reporters on the scene. In 2019, she was also honored to be a part of the KABC team that garnered four regional Murrow Awards.

Following three years as a weekend anchor and reporter at ABC30 in Fresno, California, Veronica joined the team in August 2017.
